Why is this quoted per manuscript rather than per word?
The work scales with the number of citations and references, not the word count. A 4,000-word paper with 90 references is more work than a 12,000-word paper with 20. The quote is based on your actual reference list, same day, free.
What is an orphan reference?
An entry in your reference list that is never cited in the text. We locate the right place in the manuscript and insert the citation, or flag it for removal if it no longer belongs.
Do you verify that the sources are real?
We verify that every citation matches an entry in your reference list and that each entry is complete and correctly formatted. On request we also flag references whose details do not resolve, useful when a draft used AI assistance.
Can you convert between citation styles?
Yes, converting the full manuscript from one style to another, for example APA to IEEE for a resubmission, is one of the most common requests for this service.
How fast is it?

Can you fix citations in a draft written with AI assistance?
Yes, and it is one of the most valuable checks we run. AI-assisted drafts often cite plausible-looking sources that do not resolve: wrong years, merged author lists, or references that cannot be located at all. Do you work with EndNote, Zotero or Mendeley documents?
